As temps rise outside, the heat is on here at In-Sattva’s kitchen with a fabulous new cookware collection. Can you smell what In-Sattva’s cooking? We invite you to come in and take a look - This collection is hot!

Before we get into this exciting compilation of cookware, we must highlight our one and only Master Chef, Sanjeev Kapoor. This incredible cookware line called Wonderchef was co-founded by Kapoor himself. In case you hadn’t heard the name, Sanjeev Kapoor is one of the most recognized faces in the cuisine of Indian cooking. His decade-long experience of hosting a cooking show called Khana Khazana and being the first chef in the world to have a 24x7 recipe and lifestyle channel, Foodfood, makes him no stranger to the Indian kitchen. In other words, when you hear the name, Sanjeev Kapoor on Indian cuisine you know it’s quality and it’s good!

Our team here at In-Sattva works hard to showcase his quality cookware. We know that the current pandemic has left many of you spending more time at home and has inspired some creative recipes in the process. We’ve seen pictures of your delicious home-cooked meals online and even had the chance to sample a few. We love curating our collections to showcase the newest and highest quality products that work best for our customers. Our biggest pride comes from seeing smiles on the faces of our satisfied customers.

Our team at In-Sattva is especially thrilled to introduce the new hard-anodized cookware by Wonderchef. What is “hard-anodized”, you might ask? “Anodized” means that the aluminum material has had an electric current added to it allowing oxide to be produced. This oxide makes the aluminum extremely resistant to corrosion or wear and tear. “Hard-anodized” is a further extension of the process conducted at an even higher voltage. Basically, you have an indestructible pan that doesn’t scratch, break, or chip! It is stronger than stainless steel and has a nonstick surface that produces quick and even heat. Here are some of the most-loved cookware products from the newest hard-anodized line:

The Ebony Hard-Anodized Wok with steel lid, aka our indestructible wok, is a beautiful piece in two different sizes - 24 cm and 28 cm. Its wooden handles make it functional to move around and contrast beautifully with the dark ebony color. We love deep frying pakoras and Singapore noodles with shrimp in this wok and one of our staff made an amazing minestrone in it! This wok would be great to cook stews, steam vegetables, and even popping popcorn (the edges of the wok are ideal for keeping the kernels inside)!

The Hard-Anodized Deep Kadhai Wok is another exceptional product that wowed our team. (Can you tell we love Woks?) This piece also comes in two different sizes (24 cm and 30 cm) and is deeper than the prior hard-anodized wok. A Kadhai isn’t your traditionally shaped wok, it has a flat base which makes it a versatile piece for many different recipes. Our team loves cooking Hyderabadi Biryani, Kadhai Chicken, and General Tso’s Tofu in it!

Last but not least, is our Ebony Nonstick Hard-Anodized Dosa Tawa Griddle Pan. This pan has a heavy aluminum build that has a smooth, even surface ideal for a variety of dishes that typically need to be flipped to cook. This one-of-a-kind tawa pan comes in a 26.5 cm size that makes it ideal for our team’s dosas, crepes, and pancakes. We’ve also made delicious uttapams, flour tortillas, and omelettes on this versatile pan.
