Dear Summer: you fly by so fast! This summer, I celebrated the engagements and weddings of my loved ones. Majority of my summer was spent preparing for these events and either weekend-driving or flying to commemorate the love of two people so it’s no wonder I had a bit of fashion fatigue. Also, its just so hard to decide what to wear when your friends have already seen all your photos on Facebook and Instagram these days!
Luckily, I prepared for this! I stocked up on a few tunic essentials and 3-piece suits from In-Sattva. From the four hour drives to the hotel and reception, I found the perfect ensemble for each occasion. Heavily embroidered kurtas for the reception and light cotton kurtas for lounging in between events, I was never wearing the same thing twice!
No matter the designs, I was comfortable and confident in each kurta tunic. Even my friends were asking where I’d gotten my fabulous clothing from. I can say that I’ve successfully completed wedding season, with everyone still talking about how great I looked. I have tons of memory and photos to savor, and I’m glad I stayed fresh and fashion forward this summer.
