Everyone loves a good scarf. It can make or break an outfit. And now that the weather is getting colder and colder, and we’re starting to layer up, it’s the perfect time to make your scarf an everyday staple. Scarves are a must have in fall and winter, and they don’t just have to keep you warm! They can be beautiful and stylish while still protecting you from the snow, rain, or freezing cold.

In case you didn’t already know, scarves are one of the most versatile pieces in your closet! They are perfect with a t-shirt, one of In-Sattva’s tunic kurtas, or your bulky winter coat. You can tie them so many different ways, for a new look every single time. One of the most popular ways to wear your scarf is the “European Loop.” Simply fold the scarf in half then drape the folded scarf behind your neck. Open up the scarf at the fold, creating a hole, and loop the end of the scarf through. Tighten for the perfect fit. Check out In-Sattva Colors' Soft & Elegant Scarf Stole and Zigzag Pattern Stripe Scarf, and test it out!

For something a little fancier, try the “Twist”. Start with the basic loop by draping the scarf behind the neck. Wrap each end across the neck and pull the ends back, and wrap once more around the back. The two ends will hang in front. Take one end and begin twisting it around the exiting loop. Do the same with the other end on the other side. This is the perfect way to show off a colorful scarf, like In-Sattva Colors’ Horizontal Stripe Multi-Color Scarf.

Finally, try the “Fashion Knot”, a little more complicated but with great results! As in the “European Loop”, fold the scarf in half and drape around to the back of the neck. Open at the folded end of the scarf to create a loop and this time, only loop one of the scarf ends through. Make sure this end is looped underneath so the remaining end is pulled over the loop and then threaded through.

Try out these tips and more with In-Sattva’s diverse collection of scarves, offering something for the pickiest of shoppers.
