The Month of Love: His and Her Outfit Ideas

Posted by

- By Simi Sahota

It’s February and, yes, love is in the air! That’s right, it’s almost Valentine’s Day and if you’re like me, you may have already started looking for the perfect gift to satisfy the one you love. Of course staples such as chocolate, flowers, and jewelry are always good ideas, but this year I wanted to take a step further and suggest few of my favorite his and her outfit ideas to pair and wear. It is difficult to choose from the large selection that In-Sattva® has, but here below are my recommended pairings that I would suggest to my best friends even in my sleep!

For those that want to embrace the true spirit of Valentine’s Day, this leaf print kurta tunic in pink is a gorgeous combination of feminine and fashionable. The intricate lace detailing and sequin placement gives this tunic a soft, romantic appeal. Paired with leggings, skinny jeans, or a maxi skirt, it will have you looking fresh and stylish. For him, try the hook and eye pullover tunic with mandarin collar. The high collar adds an air of sophistication while the cut and fit of this tunic will have him coming back to this piece throughout the year. It pairs easily with jeans or dress pants for a dressed up or dressed down look. A blend of cotton and linen, this tunic is made for comfort, no matter what the occasion.

For a more formal look, one can never go wrong with black. For her, the Global Desi Boho Floral dress is a showstopper. White floral detail adorns the torso and bust with a fun pop of white chevron print along the hem. Pair this dress with a long cardigan, soft shawl, or a pair of tights to stay warm and stylish. Dramatic and detailed, this dress will have everyone looking twice. For him, the A.N.D. by Anita Dongre button down shirt is guaranteed to become a staple in any man’s closet. This black shirt offers a classic, modern fit and the mandarin collar provides a unique twist. Wear with slacks or dark color jeans to add the right touch of elegance and sophistication.

Valentine’s Day is a perfect day to show someone you really care – and there’s no better way to do it than with the right gift. I urge you to go a step further and possibly get a pairing from In-Sattva®! Make it a gift for yourself and the person you love. I’m planning on purchasing a similar pairing for my significant other and myself, which is a gift I know he’ll cherish. And while I can’t wait to surprise him with my present, I won’t forget that it’s not about the things you give, it’s about each other. So make sure you cherish your time together and enjoy the day!
